Shipping policy
We work to get your order packed, shipped, and on its way as quickly as possible. Below you'll find information about processing times, shipping options for the United States and Canada, tracking, and what to do if there's an issue with your delivery.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Monday through Friday), excluding holidays, after you receive your order confirmation email.
Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Please note that processing time is separate from the estimated shipping time shown below.
United States Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
We currently offer the following shipping options within the United States:
- Standard Shipping — $8 USD: Estimated delivery within 3–5 business days after your order ships. Free on orders of $39 USD or more.
- Express Shipping — $15 USD: Estimated delivery within 2–3 business days after your order ships.
Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occasionally occur due to carrier disruptions, severe weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.
Canada Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
We're excited to offer shipping to customers throughout Canada!
- Standard Shipping — $25 CAD: Free standard shipping on orders of $109 CAD or more.
Canadian orders ship from our fulfillment facility in the United States. Delivery times may vary based on destination, carrier availability, and customs processing.
Estimated delivery times, when available, will be displayed at checkout. International shipping times are not guaranteed.
Canadian Customs, Duties & Taxes
Orders shipped to Canada may be subject to applicable import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, or other charges imposed by Canadian authorities or shipping carriers.
Any applicable charges and payment responsibilities will depend on the shipping and customs arrangements used for your order.
Customs inspections and clearance procedures may occasionally result in delivery delays outside our control.
U.S. Territories
We ship within the United States and eligible U.S. territories, as well as Canada. We do not currently offer direct international shipping to other countries.
Shipping rates and delivery times to U.S. territories may vary based on destination and carrier availability. Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed at checkout.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, we'll send you a confirmation email containing your tracking information. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update after your shipment has been processed by the carrier.
International shipments may experience additional tracking delays while packages are being transferred between carriers or processed through customs.
Shipping Address Changes
Please review your shipping address carefully before submitting your order.
If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible at support@thesciencestandard.com. We'll do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered processing or shipped.
The Science Standard is not responsible for delays or delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at checkout.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your order arrives damaged or appears to have been lost in transit, please contact us at support@thesciencestandard.com within 30 days of the expected delivery date so we can assist you.
For damaged orders, please include your order number and photos of the damaged product and packaging when possible. This helps us review the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.
For packages marked as delivered but not received, we recommend first checking around the delivery location, with other members of your household, and with the carrier. If you're still unable to locate your package, contact us and we'll help determine the appropriate next steps.
Returned or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, failed delivery attempt, or other delivery issue, please contact us at support@thesciencestandard.com. Additional shipping charges may apply if the order needs to be reshipped.
For Canadian orders, packages may also be returned due to customs clearance issues or unpaid import charges. Any applicable return shipping, customs, or carrier charges will be reviewed according to the circumstances of the shipment.
