That’s why every first purchase is backed by The Science Standard Guarantee. If you’re not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery, and we’ll refund your purchase price, minus shipping, once your product has been returned.
No complicated process. No unnecessary hoops. Just our commitment to standing behind every product we make.
To receive a refund, all eligible products—opened or unopened—must be returned using the prepaid return label we provide. Original shipping charges and return shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund, including for eligible subscription orders.
Product Return & Refund Policy
The Science Standard Guarantee applies to:
- Your first order from The Science Standard
- Any individual product you are purchasing for the first time
We want you to feel confident when trying something new from The Science Standard.
1. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@TheScienceStandard.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and the reason for your return.
Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we’ll email you a prepaid return label and instructions for returning your product. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
After your return has been received and inspected, we’ll issue the approved refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Your financial institution may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or defective, or you receive an incorrect product, we’ll make it right.
Email support@TheScienceStandard.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging, when applicable. We’ll arrange an appropriate replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
3. Subscription Orders
You may modify, pause, or cancel a subscription before its next scheduled billing date through your customer account.
Subscription orders that have already been processed or shipped cannot be canceled. An eligible subscription order may qualify for a refund under The Science Standard Guarantee if it meets the requirements outlined in this policy.
4. Refund Eligibility
- The Science Standard Guarantee applies to the first purchase of each eligible product.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
- Products may be opened or used but must be returned to qualify for a refund.
- Returns must be sent using the prepaid return label and instructions we provide.
- Original shipping charges and return shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund.
